In the dimly lit back room of a small showroom in Midland, Texas, the hands of an artist work carefully forging metal or carving wax into a spiritually inspired message. This message is the motivation behind the talented artist, Anita Goudeau, and through her work she ministers God's message of love to others.

In her humble beginnings, Anita grew up on the western slope of the Colorado mountains alongside 5 siblings. With little to do outside of home, Anita watched her mother paint and her dad work with wood, which developed a unique creativity in all of the children. Upon high school graduation, Anita searched for her calling by attending Adams State College as an Art Education major. After a post-college path of unrelated "desk jobs", Anita was laid off of her oilfield secretarial position in Midland and now sees this frightening event as a blessing. Lead again by her creativity, she began working part-time in a jewelry shop. With tools in hand, Anita discovered what would become a new passion.  

Following her heart, she went to observe Navajo silversmiths who graciously shared their vast knowledge and skills. Anita returned to repairing jewelry for a few local shops, but felt a need to create her own style. A leap of faith called her to quit her job and she began creating Christian Jewelry pieces and repairing jewelry out of her garage. It was a bold and courageous move, but the work and the ideas always seemed to come.

Since then, a song inspired piece called "Cross My Heart, I Love You," created for her mother's birthday has become her signature design. As Anita received numerous requests for this piece, she returned to the Navajo silversmiths for help with manufacturing larger quantities. Since these humble beginnings, Anita has learned a lot about the business of marketing her product. She now utilizes her knowledge from previous unrelated jobs and sees them as God's way of preparing her to own her own business.

From the vast, wholesale showrooms at the Dallas Market, to her little store in Midland, Texas, not much has changed Anita's desire and willingness to minister God's word through her art. She feels her parents' deep rooted Christian faith has influenced her most over the years and today receives her new inspiration from many of the people she ministers to. Her dimly lit workroom yields a peaceful yet simple setting for the radiant light she has become to others with her inspiring jewelry.
